Although the book predominantly examines firearms, its scope extends beyond conventional AK-74 rifles, which would be anticipated in a manuscript of that nature. This publication encompasses a wide range of weaponry - from pistols that were issued to Soviet officers to heavy machine guns and grenade launchers.
 
In contrast to popular books of a similar format, this one emphasizes the practical application of the armaments during the conflict rather than their technical aspects.
